As a Rockingham homeowners, mobile homeowners, or farmowners policyholder, you automatically receive Identity Theft Resolution service at no additional cost.
One of the big problems with identity theft is the time and effort that you must spend to clean up the problems created when identity thieves damage your credit record and reputation. It can be time-consuming and expensive if you are not familiar with the steps you must take and the organizations you must contact if you become a victim of identity theft.
This coverage is automatically included on your policy and allows you to work directly with a personal resolution advocate to help restore your identity. This advocate will work with you to collect the information and documentation needed to report to the proper authorities. The advocate will make contacts to credit reporting agencies to assist you in ensuring your credit record is handled appropriately and help you get on the road to recovery. We have partnered with Identity Theft 911 to offer this special coverage.
Additional Coverage Available
In addition to identity theft resolution services, you can purchase extra coverage for the reimbursement of expenses related to resolving an identity theft. For $15 per year, you will receive $15,000 coverage and can purchase additional coverage, up to $50,000 for $50 per year.
This option allows you to receive up to $250 per day that you miss work to meet with or speak with law enforcement and financial institutions related to the identity theft, reasonable and customary expenses related to communications sent, and reasonable attorney fees.
This coverage does not cover any lost financial assets, but the advocate will assist in working with financial institutions to try to recoup any lost funds.
